Amy Ziffer Bio Pic

Amy joined VACC in 2024. She brings to the team experience in acoustic design for a wide range of market sectors, including environmental noise, multi-family housing, and performance spaces. She has the most fun with computer modeling of traffic and outdoor equipment noise for prediction and verification of property line noise code compliance. Other experience includes facade and interior assembly sound isolation analysis, architectural acoustic evaluation of finishes, and specialized studies for construction noise and vibration mitigation, HUD-funded projects, and LEED documentation. She has a thorough understanding of California Building Code and CALGreen acoustic requirements. She enjoys getting away from her desk and out into the field occasionally to perform all types of acoustic and vibration measurements.
