Vibro-Acoustic Consultants (VACC) was founded in 2000 to provide acoustical and vibration consulting and engineering solutions to industry, government, institutions, architects, designers, laboratories and research facilities worldwide. We offer a full range of acoustical and vibration design, measurement and testing services.Our niche is Macro/Micro/Nano vibration design of challenging and complex facilities in different industries.

For 17 years, we’ve provided creative and cost-effective solutions that marry our extensive technical knowledge with our real-world engineering and design experience – in fields as diverse as ultra low-vibration labs and fabs, industrial and residential acoustical design, Federal and local government projects such as DoE (Department of Energy), US Army, US Navy, US Airforce, machinery and HVAC noise and vibration isolation and construction monitoring.

Our background includes advanced technology, industrial & manufacturing, university and national R&D labs, biotech and pharmaceutical, infrastructure, transportation, residential/commercial/mixed-use, environmental, healthcare, hydroacoustic and construction. Our work spans all project phases, including environmental studies to support permitting and design, exterior and interior building acoustical and vibration design, monitoring during construction, and testing to confirm regulatory or contractual compliance.

A WORD FROM COMPANY FOUNDER

I founded Vibro-Acoustic Consultants in 2000 with a unique perspective and vision. I entered the industry as a structural dynamics engineer designing nuclear power plants for 8 years working on AISC, ACI, and ASME code jurisdictions systems and components and was fortunate to work on complex dynamics problems.

Looking back, I am proud to say that our company has brought a unique problem solving approach to vibration and acoustic problems. We have solved complex one-of-a-kind problems and have brought value-added design solutions that often has resulted in saving costs for our projects. We are equally qualified and experienced to solve difficult vibration (at macro, micro, and Nano levels) and acoustic problems.

Vibro-Acoustic Consultants holds a number of local and national certifications and licenses.

We are certified as LBE/MBE (Local Business Enterprise / Minority Business Enterprise) by the San Francisco CMD (Certificate #CMD011814325) and are in the City’s procurements system as Vendor #61644.

We are also certified as SBE/micro-small (Small Business Enterprise) by the California OSDS (SBA#1216481).

Unlike some consultancies, we perform all work in-house. We do not subcontract out any work (such as environmental testing); therefore 100% of our budget is applicable toward LBE/MBE/SBE goals.
